Shutter-flutter

Having bought a new Canon A400 digicam, I've been learning a wee bit of photography.I hardly know the intricacies in the field...It's a highly fascinating hobby nevertheless. Mine isn't a high end cam either and it's extremely touch-sensitive, giving me hazy pics all the time :( I made a modest attempt at putting up even these dirty, shaken snaps on a new photoblog that I've started, spent hours together trying to tweak the template on blogger and ended up in this mess: My photoblog. Bah! I want a better cam,a better template,a drag-n-drop tool to build templates on blogger and better photography skills.Sigh! If only wishes had wings...

Aha! When did you catch this photography bug?! Or did your newly bought 'eye' just shook Chutki, the photographer from hibernation? Nevertheless a good start. Liked your candidness (is there a word like that? Gotta check dictionary!) in undermining the pictures you've posted on the photo blog.

I liked the Alibag one! And second photograph "Luuuv", the snap is slightly darker but I liked the way you thought and "conceptualized" it. Way to go dudette!

Good pics chutki :)

Aab teesri aankh khul gayii hai, kispe kehar dhaa-yaa jaa-ye ga? :)

'ne ways, i'm sure u must've tried flickr for storing photos. And i too have faced problems with a camera without auto-shake correction. The trick is to hold perfectly still for 5 secs before and after the ckick. It seems to work for me.

Go on shutterbug, capture the world!

[Fun-Da-Mental]:Haanji, candidness hai but undermining seems wrongly used, to the best of my poor knowledge of English.I didn't catch the photography bug...it caught me some time back! :)

No hibernation dude...fresh birth it is!No source of inspiration to start clicking, just that i felt like experimenting with the new gadget I've shelled out dough on!

[Div]:Tee hee.
Yup I use flickr to store my snaps.Tnx so much for the tip...I have tried the "hold it still" part earlier, but that's exactly when I end up shaking it!The forbidden fruit's always tastier u c :)

Why do you use Flickr to store snaps, is there any size restriction in blogger. I was looking to open my photo blog, yet to decide on the hosting website.
"Illusion" is good, the leaf appears as though its breathing thru its edges.

The pictures are real good. It seems that you are adept in this hobby as well.
Anyways, keep posting.
Drag and drop feature is available in yahoo photos.
You can create albums, but I don't know if you can post captions for each and every picture.
Keep the good work going on.

[anoop]:It isn't about space constraints.Flickr offers easy upload and some other Orkut-like features to build interest groups, which blogspot does not.I'd love to see your photoblog.Do leave the URL here once you start one.

[MS]: :) Thanq

[Abhinava]:Yahoo albums do let you post captions for your pics. It's the access that you gain to other good photographers' pics and comments that wins flickr brownie points over Yahoo.

[Arjun]:Thanks but errr one request...Would you please post comment related to the other blog on that blog itself instead of posting it here? Would be easier for me to co-relate.
